I've sent funds to my Uranium.io wallet, but can't see them in my wallet

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Step 1: Check what network the funds were sent on

Uranium.io operates on the Etherlink blockchain, which is NOT the same as Ethereum, Base, Avalanche, BSC or other EVM chains. Therefore it is critical that when transferring funds to your Uranium.io wallet, you ensure you are doing so on the Etherlink network.

Please verify that you made the transfer on the correct network. If this was not the case, and funds were transferred on another network, the funds will not appear in your wallet when connected to the Etherlink network.

If the transfer was made on the correct network (Etherlink), and funds are not visible in your wallet, please jump to Step 2.

If the transfer was made on an incorrect network (e.g. on the Ethereum blockchain), it may be possible to recover the funds if the transfer was performed on an EVM-compatible chain using the steps below, depending on how you created your account:

Step 1a: Recovering funds transferred on the wrong network with a wallet created in-app (users who created an account via Google/Email sign-up)

You will need to export your in-app wallet to a wallet app of your choice. Instructions for exporting your in-app wallet can be found here. Once you import it into a wallet app of your choice, you should be able to switch to the network you transferred the funds on, and see the funds present in your wallet.

Step 1b: Recovering funds transferred on the wrong network with an existing third-party wallet (users who created an account via connecting an external wallet, e.g. MetaMask)

If the funds were transferred on an EVM-compatible chain, you can simply switch to the chain the transfer was made on in your wallet app, and see the funds present in your wallet.

Step 2: Ensure you have added the USDC and xU3O8 tokens to your wallet

External wallet apps (e.g. MetaMask, Rabby Wallet, etc.) do not always automatically detect tokens held in your wallet. Follow the steps here to add the USDC and xU3O8 tokens to your wallet app.
