Initially the only tradable pair is xU3O8 | USDC so users need to have a USDC balance to purchase the other side of the pair - xU3O8. We plan to add support for other trading pairs in the future, but currently users need USDC in their wallet to purchase uranium.
Why do I have to get USDC to buy uranium?
